Agent OrangeA Poem by icelandicblue
Coal dust dreams snow downhill
while canaries take clean breaths. Politicians play on people's fears and scare the rational to death. Greed and hate are age old ills that swirl in darkened minds. Twisted vines choke out the good where bigotry and greed entwine. Communication is spoon fed in doublespeak and twitter. They rally for the orange prince a faux president, the counterfeiter. The checks don't seem to balance where secrecy and lies abound. It's gone beyond mere politics it is now a moral battleground. So many have been bamboozled by an obvious flimflam man. They follow him like lemmings a sick deranged madman. Take heed those who blindly worship flag waving on his pyrite path. And I hope that all I love survives the reign of this childish psychopath. © 2017 icelandicblueFeatured Review
