Karma Always CallsA Poem by icelandicblue
She was a poison apple of a woman,
black star eyes and crimson lips. Her beauty a facade, a viper's nest of want. So much waste was left in her wake. A life built on the innocence of others until the day that she met her match. He came for her with open arms and she ran into them without reserve for she had always been the predator. His shadow grew along with her alarm until he pulled her down into the deeps. And there she still lies like all the rest, a mass of silken rags and tufts of hair coiled around her earthen bones but her soul.... well her soul is afire with deeds that she will get to relive from the other side for an eternity. © 2016 icelandicblueReviews
