Endless Musings of Illuminated FootstepsA Poem by icelandicblue
The sun set gently behind
my golden clouded dreams. I sat in the dark and waited, the moonlight had abandoned me. Darkness is a place of duality, it is cool and smooth, a place to hide. It is a cold box filled with fear and brimming with suffering. Life can be such a sucking chest wound, first for triage, last for happy endings. A fallacy it is, so counter intuitive and final; it is after all more end than beginning. I want it to end, but to what ends? So I wrap myself up in endless musings and hope perhaps that tonight the moonlight will step out so I might follow her footsteps. © 2015 icelandicblueReviews
