Who Knows?

Who Knows?

A Poem by icelandicblue

I've known you all my life
although we've never met
punching your own ticket
mere mortals can't forget.

Always reminding everyone
how you're one step ahead.
You've built your ivory tower
with all those books you've read.

Your perch certainly is lofty
you think you're big, we're small,
but in this life there is no escape
from the vexing know-it-all.

I think we all know at least one person like this...there are quite a few hanging around here...I always have this fear of coming across this way, to the point where I'm scared to quote anything...but the last stanza sums it up nicely...they'll always be around so one may as well just go on doing their own thing...nicely done my friend.

Thanks Steve. We've all experienced it and the internet makes it pretty easy to be one!
That's for sure. Good one Blue

Yeah I know BR. It can be painful at time.
