Living In The Void Of Being

Living In The Void Of Being

A Poem by icelandicblue

My hand breaks through the ground
I rise without a sound
I am resurrected
I have been selected

To live another day
my hope will not give way
to the utter starkness
feeding off the darkness

One step up, two steps back
life's plagues will still attack
try to hold my head high
got another black eye

I walk down this steep slope
all I can do is cope
tangled in this big mess
pushing down the distress

My hand breaks through the ground
I rise without a sound
I am resurrected
I have been selected.

You're most welcome my dear
interesting piece....

resurrected from the pain...moving on...but still entangled in some ways...

but this hand is reaching for the promise of a new chapter of life....i hope it is a hand filled with roses.
