Unencumbered

Unencumbered

A Poem by icelandicblue

The vapor of the winter moon
surrounds her and the filtered light
blurs the stars transporting her
away from now into the never ending.

She is but a speck of dust in the universe,
her essence bright enough to rival
the sparkle of the snow beneath her feet
and the halo of the sky above her head.

There are arabesques and jettes
awaiting in the lemon mist for
the Renaissance girl to find her wings
and dance beneath the canopy of eternity.

You are most welcome Iceblue.

Splendid write, Icyblue. I do, indeed, hope that our girl finds her wings.

Me too Pryde, me too...
A Reanaissance girl :)
I love this image! What a great poem.
The last stanza is phenomenal! It somehow made me think of Emily D.'s "Arcturus is his other name"

well done!

I love the brilliant word choice and wordplay, Ice.

Thanks so much Rachelle.
Misty mysterious, marvelously penned, your beginning, that poetic insight, that light, so filtered, and fuzzy, I recognize this. There is only white she sees.... it's neverending it is....

Only when the essence is so strong as she is, halo's appear. I once saw one, in a rainbow mist, circled around the devils full moon, not long ago, you reminded me of that precious 10 minutes of bliss I watched.

Your ending is epic, I feel she will get there, just by being her.... for there appears, beauty and there grow wings, for the only brave.
