I really enjoyed this funny poem: The first two verses may be written in reverse. Your may keep this gift quatrain as your own since I use so many of your words in it: I could add more rhyming quatrains but this is your domain and not mine: It’s in /0/0/0 six syllable and /0/0/ five syllable meter:
Sugar
Be my sugar daddy.
Let your money flow.
As your candy baby,
lick me head to toe.

I think yours always has more perfection where rhyme and meter are concerned. You are the concert pianist and I play by ear. I appreciate the effort but would prefer to keep my voice even if it's more like Chopsticks. Thanks again.

This is why I didn't add three more quatrains. You have a large following of readers who enjoy your voice just as it is. My voice is an apple, and yours is an orange. Most people enjoy one as much as the other.
Lol Anne, good to see this lighter side of you again. Hey, if they're both getting their candy's worth, no foul I guess....there's a price to pay for everything in life, you pen'd it pretty fookin funny!

Thanks Frieda. Sometimes funny is enough, thanks for that.
Haha...sugar daddy :) This was a clever poem about hidden agendas. I have often looked at certain relationships that are obviously of this nature, and my initial assessment is usually one of eye rolling, but when you really think about it, so long as both people are getting what they want, what is the harm? Not the type of relationship for me, but to each his own. Nicely written.

I have known a few gals like this - keep the money coming and they'll keep on giving.....lol
A cute write but also sadly so true of many who opt for a payout for the "giving out"!

Yes, it's most definitely a double edged sword. Thanks Sheila.
like a limmerick...quite a ride...he better watch out.
she will sour his sweetness and curdle his milk.
those sugar pops will never taste the same.

I do not accept any new friend requests unless we have read and commented on each others poetry. No exceptions. I have enough homework as it is. I expect reciprocity in our exchanges. Read my work and.. more..
