Crossroads OblivionA Poem by icelandicblue
They stood at the crossroads
and made a devil's deal he didn't believe that it was irrevocably sealed. They worked out the details which were one sided at best, he found true oblivion that paved his hellish quest. He sunk to dark depths his innocence peeled away, he'd do the unthinkable falling further astray. The road to redemption covered in needles and blood the slopes are too slippery- to grasp those that he loves. So we wait for salvation for the light to be found and hope that he finds his own solid ground. Our love never wavers we all pray for his life and trust he survives all this danger and strife. We live with sharp terror in our hearts and our souls, and we wait for the time when this family is whole. © 2013 icelandicblueReviews
