if it ain't free range meat, you don't dare eat...you know what? i am going to eat what my taste buds tell me to eat. all those folks out in Cali are going to slide into the ocean any day now anyway!!!! i love this senryu, it speaks of a mass insanity phenom on the west coast...you idiots have your tofu...i'm gonna have a cheeseburger with all the trimmings and a huge order of fries!

If they read the book The Omnivore's Dilemma they'd find out how big business gets around free range and organic. It'll curl your hair! I'm hankering for some pastrami this afternoon and in my neck of the woods it's readily available!

I stayed with a cousin who is also lactose intolerant. Let me just say her cupboards were bare-at least for me.

Oh man, this is too funny, and true!! My son recently moved to the lovely state, he left a bacon cheeseburger eating kind of guy, and now he's the most annoying vegan! Lol!

Ha thanks! I ate a lot of sprouts and avocados- I like both but I needed more!

I love them too but they wear thin when you're eating them to live-trust me. They call themselves foodies but I left thinking perhaps they were unfoodies. I did have the most delicious chocolate covered strawberry that I bought from an organic farm- it cost $2.00 but it was the best strawberry that I had ever eaten.

I left craving a cheeseburger- made with real beef, processed american cheese smothered in catsup, and a milkshake made from ice cream and milk. Instead I ate a so-so panini in the airport when I landed in Chicago for a layover that had bacon and mayo on it and it tasted like ambrosia. I stayed with a cousin so I was obligated to eat like a native and as I mentioned to Sheila my cousin is lactose intolerant to boot.

I saw the one of the Redwood Forest, been there, it's phenomenal...will check out the others. California is definitely beautiful, it's peeps are a little kookie, must be all that sun, I guess rain does a soul good once in a while. ;-)

As much as I love to poke fun at them, it's a gorgeous place, my brother has lived in SF for years now, the bay area is quite special, but I think Sausalito is my favorite of all. My pleasure always blue.

Agreed- that's where I stayed. How easy it was to take the ferry over to SF. The area is to die for- I am currently amassing lottery tickets lol in hopes-keep your fingers crossed. I can always keep my cupboard stocked just like I want (carbohydrates and candy)!

I know of two who live there, and you are "right on" about that which dares to touch their taste buds. Cute, and oh, so true!! I love grass fed, and organic but also enjoy many other foods.

Me too but when I went to buy these special K protein bars I like for a snack I couldn't find them anywhere. Thanks for the comment.
