All I see is what my love has done

It was never real but for me it was

My love for you swells: it's overwhelming
Omniscient
Overpowering
Yes, I admit, it's useless
For me, for you, for our inescapable demise
It overtakes my vision like bleeding eyes
Covering every shade until all I see is that deep red.

It trickles out: down my cheeks like tears
Treacherous
Tough
If, figuratively, it stained my lips
Would I, would you, would all who looked on
Notice it was my bleeding and suffering all in one
Or see it as a statement
Of my love
