What is Truth? What is Dream?

What is Truth? What is Dream?

A Poem by icaros13

What is truth? What is dream?
Reality is relative when visions are tangible
No solidity beneath my feet
Logic, reason, ethics, temperance
My oldest, truest friends
Fled in the presence of a true force of nature
Too delicate to touch
Too lovely to refrain
Yet fear defeats desire once again
If it is all an illusion
I shall remain a fool,
Basking in ignorance
Gazing into tormented, lost eyes
Full of forgotten strength
Feeling the touch of a beautiful tortured soul
Yearning to suture the raw, open wounds
That I can feel as if they are my own
What is truth? What is dream?
Reality is relative when visions are tangible

"Feeling the touch of a beautiful tortured soul
Yearning to suture the raw, open wounds
That I can feel as if they are my own"

. you're possibly one of the most perceptive people on earth right now ...

i
the injured
thank you infinitely
for the gift of your perception

About
For we have thought the larger thoughts And gone the shorter way. And we have danced to devil's tunes, Shivering home to pray; To serve one master in the night, Another in the day. ..I do love.. more..
