Sarah, the Steel Madonna

Sarah, the Steel Madonna

A Poem by icaros13

A faded image
From a life before
A vivid vision
Of untouchable power
Bleeding grace and pain
Not forgotten, but
Removed from awareness

Walking concentric circles
Of growth and death
Mistaking movement
For distance
Until the moment
Growth and death
Accepted themselves
And each other

Open wounds
Open heart
Grit and drive
Power and grace
Divinely Feminine

Sarah, the Steel Madonna
