The Buzzard asked of me
My shoulder for a perch;
I'll pick your bones, said he
And save your liver for dessert

This method seemed to be
A slow and painful way to go;
Upon looking closer I did see
The Buzzard change to Crow

I enjoy poems about scavenger birds in general, especially crows and ravens. And I like this one. I wonder what the Cherokee (I presume you are Cherokee if you are in Kansas, Ok) believe about crows? Very Poe like, with an Icaros13 flair, holy s**t this was dated April 2014! Now I feel bad, I thought you long gone and hadn't checked, this will teach me. I should always check. Short, smart and intriguing.

Wow. I don't even know what to saw about this poem. Short, sweet and simple, I really enjoyed it.
A bit gruesome but it kind of reminds me of nursery rhymes hidden meanings. While they seem innocent and child like, they are usually pretty morbid. Great write!
