Cages

Cages

A Poem by icaros13
"

I'm not much good
at regretting
when i feel
there's nothing
to regret.
I tend to
celebrate my losses
while painting on the page.
Muses don't come cheap
or easy;
Cages come and
cages go,
and we'll be alright
if they don't
put those damned
mirrors in them...
