renewal

renewal

A Poem by icaros13

I escaped the clutch of Raven's claws
Eluded Hounds of Hell
Struck down threats from above
Gutted the Wolf with one blow

Faced both men and witches
Fought forces beyond this realm
Known great sorrow and great joy
Felt defeat and victory

I opened up my veins
Washed the darkness out
Poured cleansing in the pain
Set free by Fire and Water

Feet firm upon the Earth
Spirit swept into the Wind
Carried by unseen Hands
To a place beyond the Stars

I've been through these doors and remember the thoughts so clearly sitting here reading out loud this magic that you pen.I am groggy this morning &my coffee needs more fire .. my sights still full with lake..I shall be return soon

life is often survival...and this kind of persistence in both defeat and victory, will surely help one survive.

whatever is thrown at me...i can take it...and in the end i will make it...constant renewal of purpose.

like this poem...a nice tight piece.

About
For we have thought the larger thoughts And gone the shorter way. And we have danced to devil's tunes, Shivering home to pray; To serve one master in the night, Another in the day. ..I do love.. more..
