When Mother says
that I'm just 
being difficult
And she gave me
a chance

When Mother says 
my problems
and anxiety
are all in 
my head

When Mother says
I don't believe 
in God 
because 
I'm afraid 
to lose someone
else

When Mother finally says
the word she calls
me behind 
my back
it knocks 
me further down 
than I've ever fallen
and so just
like Mother says

I'm worthless
