Review of The GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT: 31st JULY

A Story by Ittai Bryan Matthew Nyamawuya-Masanga
"

A psycho analytical take on how the characters in the book The GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT are dealing with the disappointment. Its unearthing the hidden insecurities and frustrations that each one carries.

"
Doom and gloom is the picture of a nation awaiting its end.
“The end is nigh!” shouts the street preacher.
Poverty, famine, disease, and desperation ravage the small nation of 13 million.
The aging leader so out of touch with reality keeps churning the mantra, “We shall overcome!” Millions face starvation, millions are out of jobs, millions turn to the preachers, millions are jumping the borders to neighboring countries where they work for meager salaries.

The result is a great disappointment
