Seventeen

A Poem by ibluestrawberry
"

Just a couple thoughts I needed to get off my chest.

"
I am so tired, so tired
Pulled, stretched, in every direction
I wonder if anyone sees
I am so much older
Than my birth certificate

They cover their eyes
And they don't even know

They don't want to see that
My tears dried up at age four or forty
Because I realized (too soon maybe)
They would be sad

I wonder if
Anyone will hear me cry
When I break

Wow, this is great. "I wonder if, Anyone will hear me cry, When I break" That's exactly how I feel most of the time. Great job ! (:

I like this, how it doesn't explain much so it makes you think more. Lovely poem.
