CAPTURE THE MOMENT 3

CAPTURE THE MOMENT 3

A Story by Ibidun

Let's capture this moment shall we?
My baby just came through for me. He just made me feel like we were a team again. I lost the teamspirit last week but I got it back tonight.

Look, he gave me a gift i did not deserve. A gift I was not expecting... the gift of selflessness, I got something he loved for someone else. I was surfing through an online store and I saw an item he had told me about, I looked at it and wondered if i could get two, one for him and another for the celebrant but I couldn't. It was unaffordable and I knew I had to take a loan to get the one. My baby deserves better. Scratch that, he deserves the best. I was not going to buy him a premature gift and indeed it would have been premature seeing that he deserved more.
I saw myself like a mother not wanting to get my son that Item that would be useless or detrimental so my baby had to wait.

Right after I made the order, I called to tell him what I had been up to and then he reminded me of how selfless he was, he offered to forfeit a friend's gift for me, I know you won't believe it but I saw a different perspective to it, I saw someone who had made two sacrifices, the one he did not know about and then the one he knew.

My baby deserves the best. If I were a millionaire, he would be one too not because of the valuekf spending because he deserves all he wants.

My baby deserves the best. Shall we capture this moment? The moment were I realise that my baby gives and so he must get the best.
