So Now I Cry

So Now I Cry

A Poem by Ian Craven

I have carried my sin and walked through my pain and cried,
May these temptations flee me, I don’t want them in my life.
Jesus I love You, May your Spirit flow through me as I open my
heart to a new life.
There are people crying that need you in their life.
They don’t know where to begin or how to start in their life.
So I will trust You and may my light be your light to their eyes that
They may know You and forever have perfect peace tonight.
So now I cry Jesus, save me from my misery and strife,
And may these words not just be words but actions in my life.
