All Good Things Go In Doubles

All Good Things Go In Doubles

A Poem by The Simple Minded Poet
"

Cos All Good Things Go in two's :)

"
Four feet walking
Two lips talking
Two ears listening
Four eyes gazing in the same direction
Two hands holding
Two minds thinking about each other
Two hearts beating together
Twenty toes leaving footprints in the sand
Five fingers fitting perfectly together to make ten
Four lips kissing
Two tongues meeting
Four eyes closing
Four nostrils breathing in the same love
Two bodies warmed by the sunset
Two mouths smiling
Two souls embrace
Two people face to face
Two hearts beating at the same pace
You share all my troubles
Because all good things go in doubles

This is an entertaining and fun poem. I like the simple lines. And each line conjures clear images and pleasant emotions. Although I'm no math whiz, it reminds me of an old saying that goes something like, "trouble shared is trouble halved," or something like. Your poem is well-written and enjoyable; not bad for a 'simple mind'.
