A hand for youA Poem by Ujjwal Jaiswal
I wished a hand to come and rescue me
Out of the hell I don't belong to Carry me away from the one I'm not Believe in me and take me for granted I wished a hand to come and rescue me On whose shoulders i can shed my tears Who can manage the shuddering me On whom I can rely and tell every instance of past I wished a hand to come and rescue me Who can dress me up for the outer world And push me to do the things I don't want to Who will never leave my hand But to my surprise no hand did come One day I gazed at the blue sky brimming with aves And I walked out from the hell myself The birds were meeting sky without a hand A pair of wings were enough for them I too had another hand © 2015 Ujjwal JaiswalAuthor's Note
