Priorities

Sometimes I wake up for people,

Sometimes I do not.

For some I should,

For some I should not.

I could understand the difference,

But I could not.

It would happen once,

But next time it would not.

This might make sense to some,

To others it might not.

I liked the two earlier ones I read. Because they were shorter they were more immediate for me. This one I will have to read again to see what I think, the others I knew straight away.

Perhaps it's best not to wake up for anyone. That way we can focus more on what we are about and it is not others. They must make of us what they will. If we are wise we won't care either way.

I think that it's always important to not live to please others, but to live to serve others.
