Truth. Sometimes writing hurts and brings up old pains, but I've also found that it's some of the best self-help I could ever give myself... Lovely poem.

I tend to find that instrumental music gets my creative flow going but yes, heartache does just as well. Great poem Shadowine! You always keep them short and sweet. I don't think I could write a short poem that gets across the thoughts and emotion as effectively as you do every single time.
