Honor and respect. Needed things for a good life.
"I'll be there to guard and
I'll be there to help.
I'll be the faith,
I'll be the trust
It'll be just,
them and me. "
We need strong people in our world. We must lead with concern, kindness and love. I enjoyed this poem. Strong and positive thoughts.

and for all the responsibilities you are planning to keep awake, you have earned the badge "respect"..these are really important elements to keep all relation in this earth ..powerful meaning and I like it.. : )
I know I don't understand the poem in terms of the context, but it made me think of the privilege it is when people choose you to place their trust in, what you see in their eyes as expectations that come with an honor being bestowed on you from a group. And the way the one who receives that honor feels: pride, loyalty, responsibility, almost like an oath then to serve them. I am left with the feeling that I want to tell the person- do you know what responsibility it is to accept such trust and honor from a group? It doesn't feel like freedom, but a bond that is created. And yet, there may be certain honors that feel free- earning citizenship, for example. Thought-provoking and direct poem with hidden meaning I can't grasp. Thank you.
I make it point to always give constructive reviews, but sometimes its hard to do that if you are being honest with yourself, like I am now, by truthfully stating: "I really didn't get this poem".
Don't get me wrong, it was worded beautifully, but unlike your other works, this failed to evoke any emotion or intellectual connection with me. I felt some worth loss, as I tried to search for a meaning; a message being connoted, subtly as a lot of your poetry is wont to do. But, sadly, I still remain lost.
I don't have much to say about this point other than it was just a wonderful poem to read and I just want to let you know that this poem itself is quite to the point about the topic of respect.
