We, The Writers

Writers just pen down their emotions,

Sometimes they can portray others’.

Writers spell down the feelings,

And sometimes feel the others’.

They think, they write.

They fail but they fight.

Their ink is their weapon,

And their words are the shield.

Their sentences are the defence,

And the punctuation make them heal.

Their stanzas are their memories,

And their pages are the diaries.

Their power to write may change the world,

But their emotions to write could create a new world.

Like every element has its own big bang theory,

Every writer has its own story.

Every song is sung in a melody,

And every poem is written in some memory.

I like the Hemingway life. Travel, test life and love often. Allowed the writer to write and create. A life without struggle. Leave little to write about. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Normally not a fan of rhyming the same word. In this case being 'others'. Also world and world. However, it worked (still don't know if I was a fan lol) in the nature of the repetition-like aspect you had there. Sort of a parallelism. I rather liked this, quite a bit actually. Creative take on being a writer and using the punctuations and definitions to your advantage. Smooth rhyming, great flow. And your tone for a united 'we, the writers' remains strong and consistent. That last line was quite a pleasant finishing touch. Good read for a late night trying to fall asleep moment! In all seriousness, well done.
