It depends on 'You'A Poem by iamshadowineThere’s no
wind in the sail, But
motivation I have, To row my
boat across the river Maybe not
now, Maybe not
this minute But
definitely someday There’s no
one beside me, To help me,
to guide, But I have
my heart and brain in senses This will be
with me for the longest time. The sun is
setting, The storm
arrives. I wanted
wind, but not this way. I don’t want
to die, at least not this way. Sooner and
sooner The wind
increases, My little
boat, Survives all
the bruises Its morning
and my eyes wide open, The sun’s
rays hit my eyes, Like a
dagger in the stomach. I rub my
eyes and sit aback, I’m in my
boat, Everything
is fine, I survived
the storm. I knew I
would. I told you I
could row my boat across the river, And so I
did. Now, I’ve
reached my destination, Facing
storms and isolation. © 2016 iamshadowineReviews
