This is a very realistic glimpse into the mind of a person who's struggling with any number of mental situations, even temporary insanity! There's a certain balance between being out of control & being ultra in-control, thru-out. Very interesting tension. I love that you don't reach for dusty overused descriptions. Great job!
Mental illness is a scary thing. One can only hope for the self awareness to treat and cope with one's demons. Sadly, many people are too ill to recognise their own illness, and go untreated, contributing to their skewed world view, and contributing to their mental and physical decline.
My uncle suffers from schizophrenia, so this really hit home for me. The voices, the visions, the way that life is almost stuttered to a halt...all of these things are so very debilitating. I can see some of what he goes through in your writing, and it got to me emotionally.

Thank you so much! I'm sure your uncle is a gods creation :)
While most poets and writers have devils in their corners, you have given us a such a rare and true glimpse of yours that I cannot help but smile. Our states of mind lie on the circle of life that surrounds us... our mad moments are just the squiggly lines that lets us notice the smooth, and often boring, lines of normal everyday life. Nicely put!
Wow, this is incredibly powerful and moving. A snapshot of such struggle that few understand.
I love the tone of this its not overly metaphoric yet had this simplicity that shouts truth. So dope!
The mind is a battlefield, and whether or not you let it beat you in the end, is something you can not find the answer to at this moment in time.
You must take it a step every day, thinking... waiting... for that right moment, when your flower blossoms from the soil and takes route into the air, soaring higher than everyone else.
