Is it love?

Some questions that pop in the head about a simple concept called love

Is it true, distance draws lines,
No one wishes to be drawn,

Is it love, so weak?
A few miles can bring down,

Is it desire, that strong,
Any one surrenders to,

Is it regret, one feels,
That after giving in to desires,

Is it forgiveness, one seeks
After breaking a heart,

Is love so confused,
Is love so weak,
Or is love so difficult,
Is it so that no one can keep,
Is it why it is precious so,

Off to a good start Em. Maybe check the punctuation, there are a few commas that could be eliminated.
4th couplet...
Is it regret, one feels, (remove 1st comma)
That after giving in to desires, (remove that)

Is it so that no one can keep, ( these do not feel complete)
Is it why it is precious so,

All in all a good effort.

I absolutely loved reading this, I enjoyed the series of questions leading to an overarching question which we all ask ourselves. Why is love so previous that we all seek it? And yet we all make so many mistakes, and even lose love once found. It is our human condition I think, to make love so difficult! A great and thoughtful write, thanks for inviting me to read.
