Sometimes love hurts. That is the message of this one, I believe. The speaker languishes in the memory of what seemed like a true love, but which ended in parting. Now there are only memories to fill the seeming emptiness. There is no magic pill to make this kind of hurt go away. All the speaker can do is let it work its way out. Of course, there is the danger of continuing to hold on to the pain, which can lead to dark states. How to deal with that, though, is another story.
Another work of yours that hits really close to home and to my heart. Love truly is the best muse for writing, but sadness and heartbreak is what augment it. This freeverse is something to read to myself before I sleep, makes me really savor the words and ponder on some relatable parts. Thank you x markus

This is lovely, sad and desperate, I could feel it all the way down to my toes. A dream that we want so badly to wake up from. I really felt this one, you did a great job writing it!!!
When you feel all good things come to an end, remember life will reward you with the best.
Very sad poem, it was simple and heartfelt. Just the poetry I like reading.
Breakups are painful, and they evoke memories. You relive situations, things done together, things said. They rise to the surface and it becomes raw, until after a period of time a little of that rawness softens, and it will do so with time. Your lines are full of raw emotion, which you have expressed well.
