The Changing of The Seasons

 

 

 

 

 

When Leaves Change

and descend from the trees

and a pleasant coolness manifests over the earth

and the heat of summer must give way to its older sibling

middle age comes to being,

yet just prior to the onset

certain of the more passionate of Summers youth foreswear

and not let go so easily

the stormier and more thunderous of the brood

the rainier of the crowd.

The Fayes, The Davids, The Katrinas, and those near the heat of the moment.

they however will succumb in time.

For Eternal Youth is others, and they are the passionate ones,

Blessed By Heaven, Touched By the Hand of God.

Lewis, this is a beautifully presented, written poem, as you identify the changing of the season's ascending
features brough to terms with the power of nature an its force, as well as its peaceful effect on the heart

when pondering the action of a leaf changing color, as well as the insight displayed, woven into the fabric
of the sentimental design, to ponder what eternal youth in the spritual sense, beyond the ravages of

the storms of life, there is a great depth to this piece, passionate and the colors are excellent hues.
