Heartbroken

I wrote this when I was 15. :)

I still remember those days,

When you and I would always say,

We would marry each other when we grow up,

In our hearts we had no doubts.

When we would see each other,

We're both happy that we're together,

We never cared about what other people told us,

Because we thought our love will last.

Until one night you texted me,

You asked me about my honesty, 

And when the truth came out, 

You left me alone without a sound. 

And now that I am alone,

With no one to lean on,

I feel so terrible, so unhapppy,

So horrible, and so lonely.

Why does this happen to me?

Am I really that naughty?

Is this really destiny?

That you and I weren't meant to be.

I can't believe you did this to me,

You killed my heart who was in love with you sincerely,

I tried to heal it again and again,

But it said the bleeding won't end. 

My heart shouts all the pain,

I wanted to scream but it was all in vain,

On the day you left, words were unspoken,

You left me in the rain, heartbroken.

Beautiful. I like how the narrator didn't just blame the other person but took some responsibility for the fact that they couldn't be together. Great write!!!! :D :D :D
