What will you do?

What will you do?

A Poem by Liz Alexander

What will you do?

I am scared of the feeling
Rejection...
Scars lay on my heart
Where others have
Driven little knives
In this heart of mine
Don't be another one
To plunge the knife in the scars
Of this heart

My dating record is cleaning
No one has ever
Grabbed my hand
And asked them to go out
With them

I have been heart broken
By people
Who never were right
Yet I still wanted them to be

I am scared to put myself out there
I hide behind my phone or face boo
I am scared of the feeling
That leaves hearts broken
Don't be like Tao Cruz
And only break my heart

Are you like the others?
Or do u like me?
Will you stab me in the heart?
Or will you hold me?
What will you do?

Good questions raised by the powerful poem. We will seek real friendship and love in a life. We must be careful not to waste on bad people. I like the questions asked in this poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.
