Ten Days

I have a challenge for you
First but think
How much do you drink?
A day...
Think about the money
You spend on going to sonic, grabbing a drink,
Think about the wasted money
You spend to quench your thirst

Now also think about
The money you spend on helping
Someone else that us less fortunate
As you are

Other people in the world
Would be lucky to quench
Their thirst...
Half of the times we do
Because they do not
Have the resources
We have been blessed with

So thinking about
These things
I propose that
You consider giving up
Spending your money
To quench your thirst
On pop
Drink good ole’ water
For ten days
Instead give that money
To people that will help
Use that money
To bless the people
Who don’t have the chance
To consume as much water
We use

What is ten days?
To help save others
