WaterfallA Poem by Liz AlexanderTake me on wings Of angels To your highest point Show me power Of your will Let my worries Slip into your hands Push into the face of my fears Yet don't let me For you because give me strength Show me the path That is your will I am your sheep To led by staff So take on wings Into the clouds Show there is nothing to fear The steps you leave in the ground I can see the foot imprints In the soils ground Let me fill the footsteps You have lead out before me I am your passenger Your the driver Take me to the lowest point Show me the beauty In everything Let me never Take your love for granted On wings like angels Show me the land You want my hands to touch Who you want my light to touch Whom I am to salt and flavor My future is in your hand Mold me into the person You have you called Me to be I am yours for the taking On your wings Telling me where to go Be my guide Dear Lord Let me flow in your river Forever more Let your wings drop me back On the ground So I can join the rest Of my Brothers and sisters In your waterfall
