Library MeetingsA Chapter by Liz AlexanderChapter 2: Library Meeting Since arriving at OC the four teens have met plenty of people and Jane watched as Jeorge landed date after date while she still didn’t meet one person. That she could land a date with. Lark, Geoffrey, and Jane still hung out a lot even when Jeorge would cancel on them. The two who had started this agreement saw less and less of each other as time went on. Jeorge, the man with many dates, had fun on these said dates but in the back of his mind he missed the girl who he started this thing with. The more girls he asked out and more dates he went on the less he saw of her, his Jane. Geoffrey and Lark would schedules day for the four to hang out on with some other kids who came from the same church. He would be geared up to go but his homework would be piling up in the first month and he would be forced to cancel. One of these days that Jeorge cancelled the girls decided it would be fun to go to the County library since they need something to read when their homework was finished. They were collecting books that they were going to stay at a table and read. Lark had already found her book that she wanted to read while Jane was still looking. She was walking while looking up on the shelves not paying attention to what or who was on the floor, she ran into something and fell backwards. Quietly laughing whispering, “Just my luck”, she looked up to meet some stony green eyes. “I am sorry”, Jane whispered. He shook his head giving her a hand up, “Its fine” the boy said. He had brunette almost black feathered hair. After helping her to stand he picked up her book that she had been holding, handing it to her. “My name is Stuart, since it was you that ran into me knocking yourself down falling like angel falling from heaven. Would you honor me in returning your name?” He asked. Jane smiled at the corniness of the line and replied, “Yes I will. My name is Jane. Do you happen to go to Oklahoma Christian?” “I do.” Stuart nods, “Am I blessed with your presence at that said college?” Jane nods. Stuart asks for her number exchanging his for hers. “I better go,” she says, “I have a friend who waiting on me. I might see you around.” © 2011 Liz AlexanderAuthor's Note
