Chapter 1:

Landing dates and Friendly banter

Jane and Jeorge started dating the summer before their fresh man year of college. They decide before arriving on campus that they would date unexclusivly dating each other but also free to date who they wish, “Causal” as the colleges has called it.  The moment the four friends stepped on to the campus of Oklahoma Christian, Jeorge left Jane, Lark, and Geoffrey standing at the side walk.

He moved quickly using the freedom him and Jane discussed about dating other people to land dates with the sugar packet line. He would start talking to a girl with his hands in his pocket as he took one out he would sly drop a “Sweetie” sugar packet on the ground. When he picked up the packet handing it to the girl, “It seems to be you have dropped your name tag,” saying it as he flash the girl a smile. That line would land him 10 or 12 dates before the sun had set…

Jane would watch from a distance, a happy smile settled on her face as she watched him at first, then dislike as she watched him do it to many other girls. The point of them doing this open relationship to see if they belonged together but as she watched him she missed being in his presence, the peace that settled over her while his hand was dwelled in hers. Lark grabbed her hand and said,

“Come on, let’s meet some guys….” flashing that wicked smile at her while winking.

“We just got here. Let meet people don’t look to eager, not all of us are as ‘charming as Jeorge’”, Geoffrey said, “Let's have fun before you meet your soul mate, Lark. We have four years of college. That’s plenty of time for you find some to walk down the aisle with.”

Lark made a face at Geoffrey. While Jane laughed at their banter, it was just what she need.

I don't know. A open relation can create a lot of problems. I like her view on the subject. I like how you ended the chapter. Sometime laughter can cure problems. A strong opening chapter.
