Very much Alone

Very much Alone

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Dreams

Long fast

Gone in a blink of an eye

You fall asleep

With your mind blank

And in your sleep

A dream plagues you

In the time of pain

People appear

And leave without a goodbye

Leaving you confused

When you wake

Seeing people

That you haven’t seen

Before slowly romances you

So you feel not alone

Until you awake

Alone once again

Very much alone.

Sometime easy to feel alone. I like the feel and the emotion of this poem. We are all looking to find reasons not to be alone. Life is always a better trip with a friend. A excellent poem.
