They shall listen

They shall listen

A Poem by Liz Alexander

You ask me

One more time

To speak up louder

From the ringing in the ears

No one could hear me

As I asked him to dance Isnt that way it goes

Around the craziness

I never have been stoled a word

From peace with in

One day...

They shall listen

I really enjoyed reading this. It's very much, "in your face", and ends on a positive note. Well done!
