Time of year
Is beginning agian See the true in the words That I hear the wind whisper As they blow the leaves Down from the trees It is the trees time To thier clear conscience When the leaves are gone Getting ready For the hard winter ahead We look at all The color of the leaves and can never geuess whatgoes on the mind Of that tree Since the trees can’t Speak the language Of our fathers So we listen to the wind As they move the branches Freeing the tree Of its burden of leaves Some say Its burden of sins Also... © 2010 Liz AlexanderAuthor's Note
