When?

When?

A Poem by Liz Alexander

When will I be important enough for the world to take notice?

When will I?

When can people see me when I am right in front of them?

When will they?

When will they stop and listen?

When will they?

When will I be heard?

When will I?

When?

A big world and many opportunity to be important. Hard to say what is is important or not. I do great things at work. It matters to 200 workers trying to keep their jobs. I believe life is what we give without desiring reward. Each of us have reason and purpose. Just need to find it. A very strong poem. Thank you.

Straight to the heart. What matters to us the most, is us.. Our ability to be taken into account as an individual, with unique qualities. Seen for who we really are, not just a mere object.. I like this! Wonderful imagery here.
