Oh Boys

Oh Boys

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Boys are complicated

When we are in Elementary

We ran from them

Saying they have cooties

As we grow up

In Middle School

Boys start to become cute

But immature

When we reach

High School

Boys become players

That is a turn off

To some girls

But yet they still

Like hearing

The gossip floating around

When other hate guys

They like

Another group of girls

Would watch from afar

Boys from they day they are born

To the day they die

Are complicated

Girls might never figure

Them out

I applaude the girl

That does

Oh Boys
