For the last time

For the last time

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Senior year is about to start...

The next big step

In starting declaring Independence

From our parents

Some get exicited....

Thinking it will fly by

They want to leave

Fly with thier own wing

Out of the nest

Others are scared and worried

Who are Sadden

To leave

What they known

All thier lives

School bells will ring soon

Then School bell

Someday will ring

For the last time

I was sad when my three oldest kids left home after high school. My baby of fourteen will start high school. Make me sad to lose the kids. Today all three older kids are back home with two grand kids. I was taught always have a open door for family. You will be missed. High School will be best days of a life. Last days you are free to think and celebrate being young. A very good poem. Thank you.
