Family Secret

Family Secret

A Poem by Liz Alexander

He woke up to do this. Before his feet touched the floor, he was donning his fishing cap.

After backing out the boat into the water, a taxing job to do by oneself, he step into the boat and sighed.

The water was his favorite, shat, smooth rolling waves. The sun had just turned pint us it began to rise.

He got out his fisshing pole when got to his spot. At a small age he has been coming here. The father who raised him, showed and taught him how to fish in this spot.

No one would know expect his son and his father. It was passed down father to son. A family secret, Forever more.

Poem is very good. Many things we are given by our elders we hold on to. Poem told a very good story. I like the ending also. A excellent poem.
