Unpreditable Game

Unpreditable Game

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Five of us

Sitting around the table

Playing a card game

In that cludes a

king, queen, knight, peasant, Dung

and sometimes a duke

OR it is called

A second knight

A new duckling

wants to join

Clueless on how to play

The Galant king

Takes her under his wing

Not knowing

She would cause

His demise

The first round

She went now wher

but the Galant fell

Or was knocked down

To a knight

A new rien is a foot

Now the king

Was clueless

and wants to stay

Right where

He is

The cunning Queen

Tricks the king

Telling him
That she might go out

HE played the wrong card

Letting her go out before him

The galant knight

Is once agian knocked down

A new knight
is in his place

Is smart

The duckling rules the next game

We tell her

To kill it

Not knowing

That she going to play a double

After double

The galant peasant

as he is now

Cant play

all of us

are in tears

from laughing

Praying she not going to win

Thankfully

The smart knight

beats her

and rasies to king

but the duckling

beats the galant, the clueless

The cunning, and The smiling

The unknowning duckling

turns into the

Beautiful Queen Swan

all in a game

Of Revetution

Who would have know

In this unpredipticable game
