A Poem by

Graduting
Watch everything
Go by
Years of friendship
I watch as my friends
Walk across the stage
As the wind blows
In fall
Leaves gently fall
To the ground
Grass is turning yellos
As it dies slowly
I will say goodbye
To my friends
As they go to college
Cars starting up
Drive in to the sunset
That is what my mind
Dwells on as
I watch everything
Go by

Time does go bye. . .a little too quickly for me . . .
The 'yellos' is missing the 'w' . . .

It does seem to fly by, that is why you must enjoy it while it is still here... one blink can feel like 5 years... nicely done.

I have seen few from my High School days. We all wander in different directions. A excellent poem. It seem we get older at the graduation. I like your ending. Memories go by of things we can't get back.
