Another Nightmare

Another Nightmare

A Poem by Liz Alexander

You say my relationships

Are compilicated

You dont know

The half of it

Believe me

At night

I dream about a guy

That I know

I can't have

I finally got him
Off my mind

In my mind

The guy is kind to wrap

His arms around me

But I cant

Make him

So in my dreams

I am plagued by the crush

I wish life could be eaiser

My relationship not complicated

But with my luck

All my dreams will turn into

Another nightmare

A very interesting piece. It is something when the good dreams turn against us. Especially the ones that transition between sweet dreams and nightmare simply upon waking.

We need hope and dreams. Sometime we are lucky and things can fall properly. I like your story and the ending. Hard to lose sweet dreams in this wild and crazy life. A very good poem.

So sad. I thought it would have a happy ending but it didn't. But I'm looking on the brighter side and saying that with every nightmare you become more stronger and a lot more wise. I really liked this poem...very well written. Great piece! :)
