Romeo And Juliet

Romeo And Juliet

A Poem by Liz Alexander
"

A poem of parting. Romeo and Juliet sort of you have to read it

"

Romeo and Juliet
Time has come and gone
Everyday has more pain than the last
Days have gone by since you told
That you loved me
Months have gone by since
You held me
The pain goes crazy
Years since you had that crazy look in your eye
To true be told
You have always gone for the forbidden
There used to be the air of love
When you looked at me
But that was when we were Romeo and Juliet
Yet now when our parents let us
You lost the spark
Spark in the eye that you
Had when we kissed for the first time
Something about when we were dating secretly
The danger of getting caught is what kept you going
Now I say we should go our separate ways
Every Romeo and Juliet relationship ends badly
Goodbye my beautiful Romeo
We will meet again sometime soon.
