A Poem by Liz Alexander

On the tile

Her heels tap

As she walks away

From her former life

Or rather the past love

*click**click*

The noise that she made

As she approached him

Years had passed

While they were together

With every click of shoe

The intense grew on her face

She had just found out

This was her motivation

She needed

Time and time again

She dreamed about leaving

*click**click*

Yet something pulled her back

Well now she was done

The only thing left in her wake

Is the *click**click* of her heels

On the tile

This is great. Not something I'm used to reading, but I really like it.
