My friend the wind...

My friend the wind...

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Wind blow
Blow me to the one
The that loves me
Blow wind blow

Pick up me
Carry me into those warm arms
When you run through my hair
In that gentle breeze
Carry me to the right one

Don't leave me
I am a frisbee to lift up
Direct me to the right arms
That won't let this drop

Blow me
Carry me
I am your frisbee to blow
Guide me
My friend the wind

Inspired by: wind, calm night

Your poem poses a great question, do we leave it to fate or take matters into our own hand?

A beautiful and hopeful poem. I like the use of the wind to lead you to good place. No weakness in the excellent poetry.
